New Shoe Collection: SJP

Hey Fashionista’s!
Its Hump Day and I have an exciting post for you all today.

Ok, so...
-Who all still watches the Sex and the City re-runs
that comes on the E! television network? (raises hand)
-Who is obsessed over the character of Carrie Bradshaw
played by Sarah Jessica Parker? (raises hand)
-Who was infatuated with Carrie’s style and most
importantly, her shoes? (raises hand)

Well, I am so excited to announce that Sarah Jessica Parker is launching her very own shoe collection entitled SJP.  SJP will be debuting its exclusive collection to Nordstrom on February 28th.
So exciting right!?!

Here is a sneak peak of what to expect from SJP

My opinion on the collection:
I absolutely love Sarah Jessica Parker's new shoe collection!  In my opinion, Sarah definitely has a future as a shoe designer.  The collection is a more affordable version of the Manolo Blahnik shoe brand and after researching, turns out Mrs. Parker actually teamed up with the Manolo Blahnik CEO to create her line.  This doesn't surprise me at all, as we know, Carrie Bradshaw loved her some Manolo's in Sex and the City.  I love that this collection sort of goes back to that classic, feminine style that it seems like we have started to steer away from now days.  This brand is more for that classic, old fashioned, sophisticated woman who likes to spend her money on good quality and timeless pieces.  The Jackie O's & Audrey Hepburn's of today will surely appreciate this new line.

Facts about the SJP shoe collection:
-The shoe collection was made in Italy
(Italy knows how to make a good pair of shoes don't they?)
-The prices will range from $150 to just under $500
-Most of her shoes will have a signature ribbon strip down the back of the heel
-A few of the shoes were given a name based off of the Sex and the City show.  There is one shoe in particular called the "Carrie"
-The collection includes a few handbags and a trench coat called the "Manhattan"
-Sara Jessica Parker herself will be presenting her new collection at a select few locations.  To find out more information, visit Nordstrom.com!

What do you think about the SJP shoe collection?  Hot or Not?
Leave your comments & thoughts on whether SJP should stick to acting or if she has a future as a shoe designer.

Enjoy!

What I Wore: Valentine's Day

Hey Fashionista's!

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's day weekend with your loved ones!
Here's what I wore for the occasion...

Nordstrom Rack

Nordstrom Rack

Over the past two weekends I have done some MAJOR retail therapy and for my Valentines day date I decided to pull out this new dress that I found from Nordstrom Rack (You'll never believe how much I paid for it!!).  I chose this dress because its sexy yet sophisticated at the same time.  I absolutely fell in love with the bold print of the dress along with the razor back cut, bodycon fit and midi length.

Since the dress was so bold already and speaks for itself, I decided to pair it with accessories that weren't going to over power the dress.  I chose to pair this sexy number with a simple camel & black suede heel and a black metal detailed handbag (without the attached chain that you see below).

As you all know I am a blogger on a budget and I am all about finding good deals.
I bet you cant guess how much I paid for each of these pieces.  Take a guess....

Drum Roll please...

Dress:  Originally $50 - I paid $9.87(w/o tax)
Shoes:  Originally $65 - I paid $30.27 (with tax)
Handbag:  Originally $59.99 - I paid $7.98 (w/o tax)

Now this fashionista's, is what you call the definition of shopping the look for less.  You don't have to spend a ton of money on all of the expensive designer brands just to look and feel like a million bucks. This complete look was under $50 and received tons of compliments when I wore it.
I am challenging you all to see what kind of deals you can find out there!

Feel free to leave me comments!

Enjoy! xoxoxo
