A "Chill-y" Night out

Hey Fashionista's!

This weekend with the crazy Dallas weather, I started getting cabin fever from being stranded in the house all day on Friday (Don't get me wrong, I'm so glad i got a day off from work) so Saturday I took a risk and got out on those icey rodes to go have a drink at this new restaurant called Mexican Sugar.

I found this Mauve top last summer and this was my first time wearing it.  I scored this cute blouse on sale from Francesca's Collections for just 9 bucks! I know, super cheap right?
From the pictures it's probably hard for you all to tell, but what makes this top so unique is the bold zipper detail down the middle of the shirt and the chic poof shoulders.  I decided to pair this with black jeans and light accessories because I didnt want to take away from the detail of the shirt by adding a necklace or anything too loud.  Hope you like this chic yet simple look for a chill night out!

Enjoy!

Denim + Leather = LOVE

Hi Fashionista's!
Man, this Dallas weather has been super crazy, we have been hit with an "Arctic Blast" this past weekend.  Thank God I was able to go out last weekend and take some photo's for the blog!

As I am sure everyone is aware of the whole Denim & Leather (or Pleather in my case hahaha) CRAZE so I decided to play around and combine the two.  I fell in love with this look and decided to add a POP of color by adding these fabulous heels from Zara.

What I wore:
Top: Abercrombie & Fitch; Skirt: H&M; Shoes: Zara (I found these cuties at the Zara located in Milan this summer); Handbag:  Tory Burch

What do you guys think about this look?  How would you mix the two biggest trends of the season?

A Walk in My Shoes...

How many of you are familiar with the YSL caged shoe boots that came out a couple of seasons ago???

...well I have been OBSESSING over these  ever since these shoes were introduced on the runway back in 2009.   These shoes will run you about $1500...  Yikes! Right?

Anyway, I have been trying to find a look similar to this because I know that with my shopping budget at the moment, that I am not able to just throw out over $1500 on shoes.

Every store I went to looking for something similar to these caged ankle boots I would run into the problem of the shoe looking way too cheap or being a platform caged ankle boot and that wasn't the look that I was going for.

A couple of weeks back I hit the jackpot and found these fabulous caged ankle boots from Zara.

From the moment that I stepped out in these baby's I have received rave reviews.  This may sound like a shocker but the shoe is actually very comfortable and the heel height is 3.94˝ which isn't high at all, this may contribute a lot to why the shoe is so comfortable.

These Faboulous Finds retail for $99.90, gives you that same YSL caged shoe boot effect but for less.

Have you found some designer looks for less? Leave your comments below, I would love to hear other success stories.

Enjoy!

Hello my FIERCE FASHIONISTA’S, welcome to the Stylesider!

A little bit about myself…
My name is Chloe Iman, I am a Texas Native who’s lived everywhere from the small city of Beaumont, to Houston, to now living in the big City of Dallas.  Since moving to Dallas in middle school I discovered my love for the art of fashion.  Anything related to fashion whether it be books, blogs, tv shows, or fashion shows just sends chills down my spine.  Growing up, I have always been sort of a shy introvert and finally at the age of 23 I have decided to live out loud and follow my dream, who cares what other people think right??

With all that we have to pay for  in our day to day lives, trying to keep up with all of the latest fashion trends and all of the expensive clothes that some of our celebs and bloggers inspire us to wear, sometimes keeping up with the Kardashians can become quite the task.  Ladies, I am here to tell you that I am all for blogging on a budget and the look for less.  Don’t get me wrong I do agree quality over quantity but there is absolutely nothing wrong with finding some fashion forward pieces from your affordable retail stores and/or thrift shops.  Whether everyone thinks so or not what we wear is important.  It is a way of self expression and it says a lot about us as a person and our personality.   Through the Stylesider, I hope that you all can see that you too can be stylish wherever you go, even with a budget.

Hopefully you will follow my fashion journey and be inspired by my canvas of looks and beauty tips.  Feel  free to leave comments...

Enjoy!
